Organization Summary

Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Incorporated is theFIRST Latina Sorority in the nation. We are “Latin by tradition, NOT by definition.” On December 1st, 1975, our organization was founded to create a sisterhood that would empower Latinas in higher education and the Universal Woman. Since our beginning in Union, New Jersey, we have grown across the country with 165 undergraduate and alumnae chapters. Our sisterhood continues to empower women of all backgrounds by representing over 109 different cultures. Our sisters strive to live by the principles of Unity, Love, and Respect.

The Epsilon Tau Chapter “The ETernal Flame” was established at 抖阴黄色app on April 1st, 2012. Our eight founders, Las Ocho Sobrevivientes, paved the way for many more women to become apart of our lovely sisterhood. We pride ourselves on being an Academic Sorority. Since our establishment we have been given awards such as: Highest GPA and Academic Excellence.

The purpose of Lambda Theta Alpha shall be to provide a sisterhood based on unity, love and respect in an effort to foster the development of strong leaders who will then provide and practice political, social and cultural activities. It shall also be the purpose of Lambda Theta Alpha to promote unity through charitable and educational programs, maintain a higher standard of learning and serve as a voice for all students.

How to Join
