  • Request form for Letters of Support

    All students applying to programs in the Health Professions or Graduate Schools are required to use the standardized form (attached) to make their request(s). Please realize that an official copy any standardized test scores (i.e., MCAT, GRE, OAT, DAT, etc.) needs to accompany this request form. Requests need to be submitted to the Health Professions Advisor, Dr. Jennifer Roberts no less than 30 days prior to the deadline.

  • Allied Health Recommendation Request Form
    All students applying to programs in the Allied Health fields (NMT, RT, DMS, Respiratory Care, and Medical Lab Science) are required to use the standardized form (attached) to make their request(s). Requests need to be submitted to the Allied Health Professions Advisor, Dr. Erin Zimmer no less than 30 days prior to the deadline.

  • Guidelines for Applying to Professional/Graduate School

    Students, please use these guidelines to assist you as you prepare for the application process.  We suggest downloading a copy of these guidelines at least six months ahead of the application cycle, typically in January of the junior (or senior) year.

    Please utilize this template when creating your Sophomore Review.  Make sure you include data from specific institutions that you hope to apply to in the future.  The purpose of this exercise is so that you are prepared for the expectations of graduate/professional schools.

CASPer Testing

Developed by researchers in Ontario, Canada, CASPer is “an online screening tool designed to evaluate key personal and professional characteristics that make for successful students and graduates.”  This tool has recently been implemented for use in several medical schools across the United States as another mechanism by which to evaluate potential admits.  Currently, medical, optometry, pharmacy, veterinary, dental, and nursing programs in Canada are also using this tool.
