¶¶Òõ»ÆÉ«app Philip Lynch Theatre Presents Musical ‘Ride the Cyclone’

The ¶¶Òõ»ÆÉ«app Philip Lynch Theatre is presenting the musical “Ride the Cyclone,” written by Jacob Richmond and Brooke Maxwell, on April 25-27 and May 1-4. This play is recommended for audiences aged 13 and older.
The musical follows the lives of six teenagers from a Canadian chamber choir who are cut short in an accident aboard a roller coaster. When they awake in limbo, a mechanical fortune teller invites each to tell their story of a life interrupted—offering a prize like no other — the chance to come to terms with their fates and possibly the chance to return to life.
The first weekend performances are at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, with a 2:30 p.m. matinee on Sunday. The second weekend performances are at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, with a 2:30 p.m. matinee on Saturday and Sunday.
Ticket prices are $15 for adults and $12 for non-students and seniors. ¶¶Òõ»ÆÉ«app University students pay $3 with an ID. The show’s running time is approximately 105 minutes with no intermission.
The “Ride the Cyclone” cast features the following ¶¶Òõ»ÆÉ«app students: Michael Goelz, Molly Gustafson, Keegan Srebro, Robert Fudala, Devin Kenebrew, Toby Nguyen and Keimari McMichael. Graduating senior Justin “Juice” McCarthy serves as dramaturg.
Dr. Kevin Trudeau masterfully tells the story with help from set designer Andrew Nelsen, costume designer Celeste Mackey, music director Jeremy Landig and co-choreographers Elise Korst and Roxiana Fuqua-Evans. Working behind the scenes are Sarah “Sei” Barbour (stage manager) and Dave Pomatto (assistant technical director).
